ALISA GREEN AND THE ASSESSMENTS
I would like to say a big hello to all of the wonderful donors I have had the pleasure of meeting so far. You have all been extremely welcoming and generous with your time, comments and of course special treaties (cakes, coffee and biscuits). I have been overwhelmed by your warm hospitality, amazing life stories and enthusiastic support for the program.
I can’t wait to meet all of our donors who have consented and are ready and waiting to be assessed. I would like to reassure you that we certainly haven’t forgotten you and we are working our way to you full steam ahead!
Most donors I have seen, including the Director of the program Clive Harper, have all felt a little apprehensive to start with. Some have been concerned about memory problems, others that they won’t perform very well. However I am very happy to say that all the feedback I have received from donors I have assessed so far (at least 70 of you) is that it’s really painless, very enjoyable and really interesting.
In fact, I recently assessed Dr Karl Kruszelnicki (famous scientist and media personality) and the assessment process was alot of fun and not a bit scary!
